I think I got these in Alaska, in Ketchikan.
I think they look like Chiclets.

These are so poorly made I can't bear to wear them, so I'll be taking them apart and using the pieces to make other earrings. Seriously, what's with the earwire just hanging out in the middle of the circles? At very least put some colorful beads on there...

Tiny pair of faux pearl studs.

I haven't worn these much, since I tend toward dangly and colorful more often than not.

As you can see, these are clearly extremely cheap, since the cabochon of the right earring isn't even lined up correctly. I think they came in a set of three for $7 or something. I'm pretty sure I wanted the set because there was a pair of brown earrings that I wanted for some reason.

These are teeny tiny diamond studs that are, of course, not actually diamonds. I don't know that I could bring myself to buy diamonds, because I lose earrings too often.

I wanted to try a new background for a few pairs of earrings. This is a painting I did on some glass from an empty frame. I painted it, put it back in the frame, and put it in my windowsill. The sunlight comes through the translucent paint colors and it looks like stained glass. I love it.

And the background is more interesting than the earrings here. Silver ball posts. Meh. Boring, but an earring workhorse nonetheless.

I got these in October 2008 from Something Silver at Disneyland.
They are silver frames wrapped with silver wire.

In this picture they are a bit tarnished... I've cleaned them since then, and they look muuuuch bettah.

A friend and coworker of mine gave these to me as a Valentine's Day gift while we were on a business trip. Maybe because I didn't actually have a valentine. More likely just because she knows I love earrings and is one of the most thoughtful and generous people I know.

She also gave me a card that quoted Van Gogh saying, "I dream of painting, and then I paint my dreams."

She knows me pretty well, don't you think?

Aren't these awesome? From Target.

Made these. I love the colors of the glass and the stripes.

I bought these at Kazana in Paris across the street from where I went to school.

Felted wool beads. How awesome is that? And I love the big kidney-shaped earwires.

I got these from a friend whose style is a bit more flashy than mine. I used to hate faceted stones. I thought they looked cheap for some reason. Like they were trying too hard to be diamonds.

I'm surprised how much I have actually worn these.

I don't remember where I got these. But I looooove them.

They are some of the first gold earrings I bought for myself that I actually wear.
I think they are feminine and delicate, but bold at the same time.

Is that even possible? Guess so!

I love these.
I bought them at Summerfest a few years ago, from this jewelry designer.
Earthy, casual, simple, and great colors.
Love.

Okay. I don't know what posessed me. They are canary yellow, which isn't a bad thing. But they're huge and they're plastic.

I know.

I am a fan of these earrings. Hoop and clusters in one? And turquoise to boot? Yes, please.

From Target. Also came with a purple and orange pair (which you may or may not have already seen here).

No recollection of where I got these. Probably Target. Mother-of-pearl has a beachy feel to it--too bad I don't live anywhere near the beach.

I think I got these in Paris. I like the design, but the metal is a bit too brassy, so I rarely wear them.
