A friend and coworker of mine gave these to me as a Valentine's Day gift while we were on a business trip. Maybe because I didn't actually have a valentine. More likely just because she knows I love earrings and is one of the most thoughtful and generous people I know.

She also gave me a card that quoted Van Gogh saying, "I dream of painting, and then I paint my dreams."

She knows me pretty well, don't you think?

I want to say that I bought these in Paris. But I can't be certain.

No idea where these are from. I don't wear these very often--for some reason they strike me as more formal, even though they're made of plastic beads.

Go figure.

I really have no idea where these are from. They're nice and bright. And nice and BIG.

More Target goodness. I've had these for several years. I really like them, but I don't actually wear them that often. You may not be able to tell from the picture that they're painted metal with a sort of pearl-like finish. But that's what they are. :)

Got these at Six in Paris. Awesome, no? They're small and dainty, and they go with eeeeeeeverything.

I bought these earrings in Paris, too, at a store called Diwali. There are several locations throughout the city, all in highly tourist-y areas. I always found myself drawn into the store because it was so colorful in the world of beige, grey, black, and white that is Paris.

I believe these earrings are from Target, but I can't remember. I like the pairing of the soft pink teardrops with the darker, less feminine chain that connects them to the earwires.
